What Happens When a Phone Number is Blocked
Once a phone number is blocked:
- Calls from the blocked number do not ring your devices.
- The caller will follow your company’s standard treatment (e.g., busy tone, routing rules, voicemail).
- Blocking is user-level only and does not impact other employees.
- You can block mobile, landline, or VoIP numbers.
Limitations for Regular Users
As a regular user:
- You cannot block numbers on behalf of your company.
- You cannot block internal extensions.
- Blocking does not affect SMS or external apps synced through integrations.
Only Admins can configure system-wide call blocking or spam filters.
