How to Manage Users in the Billing Portal

Billing Portal users can access invoices, transaction history, and billing notifications. All Billing Portal users have the same permissions.

⚠️ Deleting a Billing Portal user cannot be undone

For security, deleting a Billing Portal user cannot be reversed without assistance from net2phone Canada. 

If you attempt to recreate the same user, you'll see an error:
The username already exists. Please use a different username.”

You cannot delete your own Billing Portal user information.

Access the Manage Users page

Administrators can access the Manage Users page from the Account Dashboard.

  1. Log in to the net2phone Billing Portal.
  2. From the Account Dashboard, click your name in the top right corner.
  3. Click Manage Users

From the Manage Users page, you can add, edit, or delete users and manage billing notification settings.

Add a new user

Follow the steps below to add a new Billing Portal user.

  1. Click the New User button.
  2. Enter the required fields:
    1. Username (usually the user's email)
    2. First Name
    3. Last Name
    4. Email
    5. Time Zone
  3. (Optional) Enable Billing Notifications for this user.
  4. Click the green checkmark to save the new user, or click the red X to cancel.

Edit an existing user

Follow the steps below to edit an existing Billing Portal user.

  1. Click the pencil icon next to the user.
  2. Update the user information or notification settings.
  3. Click the green checkmark to save changes, or click the red X to cancel.

Billing notifications

Billing notifications can be enabled or disabled for each user from the Manage Users page.

Users who enable Billing Notifications will receive email updates when:

  • A new transaction is posted (invoices, payments, refunds, or credits)
  • A new Billing Portal user is added
  • A Billing Portal user is deleted

Delete a user

Follow the steps below to delete a Billing Portal user.

Deleting a user cannot be undone

Deleted users cannot be recreated with the same email address unless net2phone Canada restores the account.

You cannot delete your own Billing Portal user account.

  1. Click the red trash can icon next to the user.
  2. Click Yes to confirm deletion.
