You may need your phone’s IP address to access the Web GUI, troubleshoot connectivity, or perform advanced configuration tasks.

Requirements and notes

  • Ensure the device is powered on and connected to the network.
  • If connected via Ethernet, confirm the cable is securely attached and WiFi is disabled.
  • If connected via WiFi, confirm the phone is connected to the correct wireless network (SSID).

You can verify the IP address using one of the following methods.

Option 1: View from the device screen

Use this method if you have access to the phone display.

  1. Quickly press and release the OK button.
  2. Alternatively, press Menu, then select Status.
  3. Locate the IPv4 address in the General tab.
Example: Viewing the IP address from the Status menu.

Option 2: Use an IP scanner

If you cannot access the phone screen, you can scan your local network to locate the device.

  1. Install a network scanning tool such as Advanced IP Scanner or Angry IP Scanner.
  2. Run a scan of your local network.
  3. Identify the Yealink device and note the listed IP address.

For Yealink cordless devices (W60B, W70B, W76P with W56H/W59R DECT handset), you can verify the IP address from a registered handset or by using a network scanner.

Use this method if you have access to a handset registered to the base station.

  1. Press OK.
  2. Select Status.
  3. Select Base.
  4. Locate the IPv4 address.
Example: Viewing the base IP address from a Yealink handset.

Option 2: Use an IP scanner

Alternatively, use a network scanning tool to locate the base station on your local network.
