Update the Device Configuration on Yealink

Learn how to update the configuration for Yealink T3/T4/T5 and W60B, W70B, and W7P6 auto-provisioned devices.

Updating the device configuration allows your Yealink phone to retrieve the latest settings from the Sync Platform. 


You can update the device configuration using one of the following methods.


Option 1: From the device menu

Use this method if you have access to the phone screen and menus.

  1. Press the Menu button.
  2. Navigate to Basic.
  3. Select Update Configuration.
  4. Press the Enter soft key to confirm.
    Success: Your phone will reboot automatically after updating.

Option 2: Use the Redial key shortcut

Use this method to quickly refresh the configuration without navigating menus.

  1. Press and hold the Redial key.
  2. When prompted with Provision now?, press OK.
    Success: Your phone will reboot automatically after updating.

For Yealink cordless devices (W60B, W70B, W76P with W56H/W59R DECT handset), you can update the configuration using one of the methods below.


Option 1: From the handset menu

Use this method if you have access to a registered handset.

  1. Press OK.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select System Settings.
  4. Select Auto Provision.
  5. Enter the PIN (default: 0000) and press the Done soft key.
  6. Confirm the username and password when prompted.
  7. Press the Yes soft key to proceed.
    Success: Your phone will reboot automatically after updating.

Option 2: Power cycle the base unit

By disconnecting and reconnecting the DECT base, your phone will reboot automatically after updating
