You may need your device’s MAC address and serial number (Machine ID) when transferring services or registering your phone in the Sync Platform.
Requirements and notes
For desk phones, ensure the device is powered on and securely connected to both a power source and an Ethernet port before proceeding.
For cordless phones, ensure the base station is powered on and securely connected to the Ethernet cable.
Yealink T3/T4/T5 desk phones
You can obtain the MAC address and serial number (Machine ID) using one of the methods below.
Option 1: View from the device menu
Use this method if you have physical access to the phone and want to quickly display device information on the screen.
- Quickly press and release the OK button.

- Press the Menu button.
- Select Status.
- In the General tab, locate the MAC address and serial number (Machine ID).

Option 2: Check the physical label
If the device screen is unavailable, you can locate the information on the printed label attached to the phone.
- Turn the device over.
- Locate the printed label containing the MAC address and serial number (Machine ID).
Yealink cordless devices
For Yealink cordless devices (W60B, W70B, W76P with W56H/W59R DECT handset), you can obtain this information from either a registered handset or the base station.
Option 1: From a registered handset
Use this method if you have access to a handset that is already registered to the base station.
- Press OK.
- Select Status.
- Select Base.
- Locate the MAC address and serial number (Machine ID).

Option 2: Check the base station label
If you cannot access the handset menu, you can find the information directly on the base station.
- Locate the printed label on the back or underside of the base station.
- Identify the MAC address and serial number (Machine ID).
