Manage Three-Way Conference Calls on Yealink Desk Phones

Learn how to start and manage a 3-way conference call on a Yealink desk phone, including how to add participants, place calls on hold, mute callers, and remove attendees.

You can create a 3-way conference call directly from your desk phone while on an active call.

Start a Conference Call 

Follow the steps below to add a second participant to your active call.

  1. Call the first party.
  2. After the first party answers, press the Conf soft key. 
    This places the first party on hold.
  3. Dial the second party’s extension or 10-digit number. 
    Press the Send soft key, the OK button, or the # (pound) dial key.
  4. When the second party answers, press the Conf soft key again to join all parties.

Manage a Conference Call

After the conference call is established, you can manage participants using the available soft keys.

  • Hold — Place the entire conference call on hold.
  • Split — Separate the conference into two individual calls (both placed on hold).
  • End — End the conference call.
  • Manage — Select a specific participant using the arrow keys to access additional options:
    • Far Mute — Mute the selected participant. They can hear others, but no one can hear them.
    • Remove — Remove the selected participant from the conference.
    • Back — Return to the previous screen.
