Star and feature codes let you complete common calling actions directly from a Sync desk phone or supported calling device. Use the codes below to manage calls, voicemail, transfers, call parking, Do Not Disturb, ring group and queue availability, and other calling features.
Requirements and notes
Feature code availability can depend on your assigned licenses, permissions, call routing configuration, and device type. Some codes only apply if your organization uses the related feature.
Call handling feature codes
Use these codes to manage common actions while making or receiving calls.

Call monitoring feature codes
Authorized call center users can use these codes to monitor, whisper to, or join an agent's call.

Change monitoring mode while connected
After connecting to an agent call, press 4 for monitor/spy mode, 5 for whisper mode, or 6 for barge mode.
Tips and troubleshooting
Review the notes below if a feature code does not work as expected.
