Enable notifications to receive sound alerts for incoming calls. Disabling notifications does not activate Do Not Disturb (DND). Your calls will continue to ring until they time out and follow your voicemail or call-forwarding settings. To send calls directly to voicemail, set your status to DND.

Access notification settings

The web app currently supports sound notifications for incoming calls. To access your notification from the net2phone browser app:

  1. Open your Profile Settings.
    1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
    2. Click your name under Profile Settings
  2. Select the Notifications subtab from the left menu.
  3. Review the available notification options.

Enable or disable call notifications

Use the Calls toggle to turn sound notifications on or off:

Enabled: You will hear an audible alert when a call comes in.

Disabled: Calls will still appear in the app, but sound alerts will be muted.

Click Save to apply your changes.

Example: Profile Settings open to the Notifcations tab, with incoming call notifcation toggle enabled.

Quick Tips and Troubleshooting

If you’ve enabled call notifications but still don’t hear alerts, check the following:

  • Your computer’s system volume and output device settings.
  • Your browser’s site permissions (sound or notifications may be blocked).
  • Your device’s “Do Not Disturb” mode.
  • External speakers or Bluetooth devices are connected but muted.
