You can block unwanted incoming calls by adding phone numbers to your personal Blocked Callers list or by turning on the option to block all anonymous callers. Your personal blocked call list will apply only to your extension.
Notes on Blocking Numbers
- Blocked numbers and anonymous-call blocking only affect calls to your extension or any direct numbers assigned to you; other users can manage their own lists separately.
- All users can block numbers for their personal extensions. If you are an Admin looking to manage blocked numbers for your organziation,check out our article Manage Company Blocked Callers.
- If a legitimate caller is mistakenly blocked, you can easily remove a number from your block list to restore access.
- Enabling Block all Anonymous Callers may also block calls from older systems that do not send caller ID information correctly.
Access Blocked Callers Settings
If you only want to view your blocked caller list, you can View Your Blocked Phone Numbers directly from your Profile Settings.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app.
- Click Company Settings to open the configuration portal.
- In the left-hand menu, click Blocked Callers.
The Blocked Callers page displays your personal list of blocked numbers and provides the option to block anonymous callers for your line.
Block All Anonymous Callers
Use this setting to automatically block calls that do not present a caller ID (for example, calls that show as “Unknown” or “Private Number”) from reaching your extension.
- From the Company Settings > Blocked Callers page, locate the Block all Anonymous Callers toggle.
- Click the toggle so it appears On.
Once enabled, incoming calls without a valid caller ID will not ring on your line.
Add a Blocked Number
To block a specific phone number from calling you:
- Go to Company Settings > Blocked Callers.
- Click Add Blocked Number.
- Choose the correct country code, then enter the phone number you want to block.
- Enter a short Description, such as “Spam caller” or “Vendor no longer in use”.
- Click Add.
The number is added to your list immediately, and future calls from that number will be blocked from reaching your extension.
View and Search Blocked Numbers
The Blocked Callers table displays each blocked number, its description, and the user who added it.
- Use the Search field to find a number or description.
- The Total count indicates the number of blocked numbers you currently have.
Remove a Blocked Number
If a number was blocked by mistake or should be allowed again, you can remove it from your list.
Delete one number:
- In Blocked Callers, find the number you want to remove.
- Click the trash can icon on the right.
- Confirm the deletion if prompted.
Delete multiple numbers:
- Check the boxes beside each number you want to remove.
- Click Delete Selected.
