Connect the headset base

Connect the WH62 base station to your desk phone or computer, then switch between active devices using the base station's buttons.

Connect to a net2phone desk phone

Connect the base station directly to your desk phone using the included micro-USB-to-USB-A cable.

  1. Connect the micro-USB end of the included cable to the Phone port on the back of the WH62 base.
  2. Connect the USB-A end to the USB port on the back of your Yealink desk phone.
  3. The desk phone will automatically detect the headset and route call audio to it.

Connect to a computer

Connect the base station to your PC or Mac to route audio through the net2phone Sync app.

  1. Connect the micro-USB end of the included cable to the PC port on the WH62 base.
  2. Connect the USB-A end to an available USB port on your PC or Mac.
  3. Press the PC button on top of the WH62 base to activate computer audio.

Configure audio in Sync

After connecting the base station to your computer, set the headset as your primary audio input and output device in the Sync app.

  1. In the net2phone Sync desktop or web app, click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Audio.
  3. Under Microphone and Speakers, select Yealink WH62 from each dropdown menu.
  4. Place a test call to confirm two-way audio is clear.

To use the physical call button on your headset to answer and end calls directly within the net2phone Sync desktop app, you must install Yealink USB Connect.

Without this software running, call audio will work, but you must manually click the answer or hang up buttons in the Sync app interface.

  • Download and install the utility from Yealink USB Connect.
  • Use this tool to keep headset firmware up to date and customize ringtones or auto-answer settings.

Daily use and call controls

Use the headset buttons and base controls to manage audio and active calls.

  • Base Buttons: Manage calls and switch between connected devices (desk phone, PC) directly from the base.
  • Answer or End a Call: Press the multi-function call control button on the outside of the earpiece.
  • Mute Audio: Raise the microphone boom arm up past 30°, or press the Mute button on the headset arm. Lower the boom arm to unmute.
  • Adjust Volume: Use the + and – volume buttons located along the edge of the earpiece.
