Voicemail-to-email alternative

Listen to voicemails on your Yealink desk phone
Supported models
The steps in this article apply to the following Yealink desk phone models:
- Yealink T33G
- Yealink T43U
- Yealink T46U
Note: You cannot access voicemail if you have an active call on any line.
To listen to voicemail from your Yealink phone:
- Dial *98.
- Enter your voicemail PIN.
- Follow the voice prompts to listen to new or saved messages.
Alternatively, press the Voicemail button (envelope icon) on your phone and follow the voice prompts.
Listen to voicemails from a Yealink cordless handset
You must know your voicemail PIN before accessing messages from a Yealink handset.
To listen to a voicemail from a cordless from the handset menu:
- Press OK.
- Select Voicemail
- Select Play Message.
Note: If you have multiple handsets paired to the same base, you must select the desired line. - Follow the voice prompts.
Listen to voicemails from an external phone
You can check your voicemail from an external phone (for example, a mobile phone or landline).
- Call your office extension from an external phone.
- Allow the call to ring until the voicemail greeting plays.
- Press the star key * while the greeting is playing.
- Enter your extension’s voicemail PIN to access your voicemail inbox.
After entering your PIN, you can listen to voicemail messages using the same voice prompts as *98.
