Huddle polls allow meeting Hosts and Moderators to collect quick feedback from participants during a live video conference. Polling is useful for gathering opinions, confirming decisions, or keeping participants engaged without interrupting the meeting flow.

Before You Begin

Before creating or launching a poll, review the following:

  • You can create poll drafts at any time before a meeting.
  • You must be in a live Huddle meeting to send a poll survey.
  • Some polling actions may require Moderator permissions.

Example: Huddle video conference streaming a 2026 Olympic Hockey Game with a survey poll asking “Who will win?”

You can prepare polls in advance using Huddle’s pre-lobby settings. From the desktop or browser app:

  1. Launch Huddle in the net2phone app or open a Huddle browser tab.
  2. Click the gear icon to open the Settings menu.

Participate in a Poll

When a poll is active, participants can:

  • Select one response.
  • Submit their vote.
  • Change their vote after submission.

Participants do not need to speak or use chat to respond.

View Poll Results

Poll results appear immediately after a participant submits their response.

  • Results are updated in real time during the meeting.
  • Hosts and Moderators can review responses as they are submitted.
  • Results remain visible until the poll is closed.

Save Poll Results as a File

You can export poll results as a .txt file.

From the Poll tab during a live Huddle:

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the bottom right of the poll window.
  2. Select Save polls as a file.
Success: The .txt file will download to your computer (typically your Downloads folder).
